Self-Hug Tool for Anxiety

In this video, I share a simple yet powerful tool for dealing with anxiety or any intense emotion. It’s especially helpful when you’re out in public and you feel panic around the corner! I learned this technique from Dr. Peter Levine, developer of Somatic Experiencing® Therapy, who borrowed it from a system of self-soothing called Jin Shin Jyutsu. It’s one of my favorite trauma-informed skills and I use it all the time!
