It is my hope that financial circumstances are not a barrier to seeking mental health treatment for anyone. The following is a list of agencies in Eugene and Springfield providing low cost mental health services. It is not a comprehensive list, but hopefully provides you with a starting point in your search.

The Trauma Healing Project regularly offers forums and workshops in English and Spanish for diverse populations including women, veterans, and families. They also provide therapy groups for adolescents. (541) 687-9447

The Center for Community Counseling “is a non-profit mental health organization that for more than three decades has been a resource for low-income and uninsured adults in Lane County who are in need of mental health services but have no other means of receiving assistance.”

Options Counseling Services of Oregon, Inc. is a non-profit organization that provides low cost counseling services for at-risk rural, urban and homeless children, adolescents, individuals and families throughout Lane County and Oregon. They have several locations. Please see their website for specific contact information.

The University of Oregon Psychology Clinic provides low cost counseling services for adults 18 and over. Staffed by supervised graduate students, they specialize in the treatment of anxiety and depression with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.  (541) 346-4954.

Whitebird Clinic provides counseling for individuals, couples, and families as well as a 24 Hour Crisis Hotline at 541-687-4000. Their main phone for non-emergency calls is (541) 342-8255.
